DFDS Seaways' ships offer you all the comfort and service you would expect from an ocean cruise liner. All ships are different in size and facilities but each has their own charm and atmosphere, which has made them favorites with frequent travelers.

With great restaurants, shops, play areas and entertainment there is something for everyone, young and old alike.

Where shall we eat? What do the cabins look like? The size and standard of a cabin within each category may vary somewhat from ship to ship. Not all cabin categories are available on all DFDS Seaways ships. Do they have the perfume I want in the tax-free shop? These and many other questions are answered below.

Dinning: In the evening, you can enjoy our traditional "Smorgåsbord" which literally means "a Feast or Open Table of different foods, including a variety of fresh seafood such as Salmon, Crayfish, Prawns and Herring. If that isn't enough, it is also served with hot and cold meats, salads, cheeses and mouth-watering desserts. Remember to bring a good appetite!

Our exclusive à la carte restaurant onboard these ships is the Blue Riband features excellent meat, fish and vegetarian dishes.

The Bake'n Coffee cafés onboard these ships are light and modern, and serve a traditional café selection at reasonable prices.

They are perfect for those with a small appetite, and offers customers something a little lighter than a full meal.

The cafés offer an excellent range of food snack items, including soft drinks and teas and a range of coffees.

In the morning, you can sample our wonderful breakfast buffet.

Entertainment: At DFDS Seaways we always put together a varied program of quality entertainment which will be the perfect sequel to your meal, whatever you choose. You might for example like to enjoy a movie in the ship's cinema, which always features some of the most recent releases and afterwards dance the night away in the nightclub.

All ships have live bands, and for the young at heart, the disco swings into the small hours. The Cruise manager will arrange competitions and present the dance shows performed by our professional dancers.

Shops: Our onboard Shops offer a large assortment of spirits, perfume and tobacco at advantageous prices. The variety of items offerred makes shopping on route a relaxing experience. You will find many major brands in our shops.

Conferences: Have you got an important conference to organise and what to do something a bit different?  Then why not choose our fantastic conference facilities.  Our conference rooms boast all the technology that you could ever require.

The tiered theatre room, on some ships, is perfect for acoustics and this will ensure that the speaker has the full attention of the audience. So if you want to combine business and pleasure then we have all that you could need.
